Science Talent Search

STAV Student Activities & STS Handbook

The statewide Science Talent Search (STS) is an annual event organised by the Science Teachers' Association of Victoria (STAV).

At Princes Hill SC the Science Talent Search Project is a Semester One curriculum extension assessment task for all Years 7 - 10 students.

Every year bursaries totalling tens of thousands of dollars are awarded to state-wide STS bursary winners. State-wide STS entries may be individual or as a group of two (please not that two is the maximum group size for state-wide eligibility in any section).

Students undertake to work in any of the following categories:

EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH	POSTERS WALLCHARTS*	COMPUTER PROGRAMS	WORKING MODELS
CREATIVE WRITING*	SCIENCE PHOTOGRAPHY	GAMES	INVENTIONS
		VIDEO PRODUCTIONS

STS Statewide Entry Information for Princes Hill students

Individual Science teachers set the Final Due Date for this Semester One assessment task with their class.
