Year 7 Science

"Science has been really fun. I love how we got to use acids and poisonous chemicals and how we got to wear labcoats and funny-looking space glasses." Ella

"The excursions were really interesting. Instead of staying at school we went to Healesville and actually had the animals there in front of us. The canoeing at Werribee Zoo was good, too." Nathaniel

Year 8 Science

"We've done lots of practical work. It's been interesting watching what happens. We made some slime where we experimented with the amount of glycerine and cornflour to get different thicknesses." Aaron

Year 9 Science

"The Powerworks excursion was really enjoyable and interesting! The pracs in class were good. The double lessons with The University of Melbourne students were fun." Emily

"Living with microbes, in particular, the experiments with the agar plates, appealed to me. I also enjoyed learning about how cells work and studying anatomy." Zoe

Year 10 Science

"I liked the experiments. The one where we extracted copper from copper ore I really enjoyed." Yuen

"I enjoyed genetics the most, and also chemistry was really fun. Working on chemical reactions was the best feature." Inca
