Visual Arts is studied as core in years 7&8 at Princes Hill Secondary College. Students do two rotations if 3 periods each week in each semester. This means that for the first 3 semesters, students can study up to 6 areas of specialisation in the visual arts. This depends on whether they study a musical instrument.

In semester 2 of Year 8, students are able to choose from a variety of electives to take account of interest or those who have missed an area of specialisation..
